It was an old school Model A Ford Pickup Hot Rod built a bought 20 years ago. The customer loved his Hot Rod pickup but he was over 6ft tall and just didn’t fit in it. He came to me to see what could be done. After much thought we decided it was going to be less painful to stretch the cab than to cut his legs off.

I started with a drawing of what we wanted the truck to look like after the stretch. The customer happened to have a 1931 Ford sedan body lying around that he was willing to donate to the cause. So with a donor car and a plan in hand we were in business.
